Everyone agrees that training is an important part of improving and updating the skill set of an organization’s most important resource. However, the costs, time involved and approach are often up for dispute. Training does not have to take much time, cost very much or be a series of dull powerpoints. There is a better way!
All my training is based on the following key factors:
For example, three hours in the morning is more than enough time to train a group on how to do risk analysis, prepare a risk register and develop workable risk plans using the organization’s actual projects. A single day is lots of time to explain and practice how to develop a full project plan including scheduling, communications planning, setting objectives, stakeholder analysis, risk assessment, etc.
In the past, I have carried out training in the following areas (and many more) for organizations small to large, all over the world.
